We heat 100% with solar energy. The storage unit collects the energy gathered by the solar collectors over the course of the year. The energy collected is enough for the daily hot water use as well as for the heating period.
With the development of horizontal layering, the separate storage partitions are located next to each other, and are connected in the lower part to assure good circulation.
The heat layering still functions inspite of the horizontal layout. All partions are heat technically isolated from one another.
The storage unit innovation from EBITSCHenerietechnik is not round but rectangular. This provides for more volume in the same spatial dimensions and is ideal for underground or basement installation.
All technical elements and piping are integrated into the unit, which eliminates the need for a separate boiler room (a cost advantage not to be taken lightly). The inspection dom and the technical elements are easily accessible through a hatch in the floor.
